Sunday May 24 - Day 54

Sunday was not "Sun-Day" for the Morgans. They stopped at Milligan to look at the blackened skies. I'm sure the blackened creole food of New Orleans was more appealing. It's almost as if the low pressure was following them like a bike trailer. Maybe the storm could be named BoB (the brand name of Josh's trailer - in case you haven't followed these endless posts).

Gregg said some places in Florida have gotten a foot of rain as rain bands move through from the slow moving low pressure. Even the space shuttle Atlantis gave up on Florida weather after waiting two days, opting instead to land in California.

The Morgan's put in 93 miles Sunday with rain periodically throughout the day. They would ring out their socks and put them back on. Everything is wet. It was a bad day to ride so many miles, but they want to get to Tallahassee and Warm Showers hosts Susan & Kevin on Monday night The campsite was in the outfield at the Cottondale High School - Go Hornets.
