Rock for Rain is a local benefit show hosted by the University of Minnesota's student organization, The Global Studies Student Association. This year, GSSA's support goes to The Nafula Foundation. The Nafula Foundation is an organization dedicated to assisting orphans and vulnerable families in the Western portion of Kenya.

With the funds raised at the Rock for Rain Benefit Show, GSSA and its members are hoping to conduct an on site visit to the Kenyan village of Chebukwa in May 2010 to build a rain water harvesting system to produce clean water for the village and promote healthcare education for the local community.
